Sores lasting more than 2 weeks, recurring frequently or growing must be examined. Early diagnosis can be life-saving.
What are the symptoms of oral cancer?
Sores that do not heal for more than 2 weeks, white or red patches, painless swellings and difficulty chewing are warning signs.
How is oral thrush treated?
It is treated with antifungal medications. If the immune system is suppressed, it is evaluated together with internal medicine.
